Our New Reopening Protocols
Please read the below guidelines before your appointment to see how things will work for the foreseeable future.
1. APPOINTMENT TIMES
The first thing to be aware of is that appointments will be significantly shorter.
If you’re booked in for Profhilo or toxin, expect your appointment to last around 15 minutes in order to follow the guidelines recommended by our governing bodies.
We will not be offering filler treatments or cryotherapy initially as these come with a higher risk of infection. We will keep you updated and let you know when we plan to begin offering them again.
This unfortunately means there’s no time for a chat. As much as we’d love to catch up with you on how you’ve been the last few months, we need to all keep safe!
2. PRE-APPOINTMENT PAPERWORK
After you book, Hannah will send a COVID-19 Risk Consent Form, Pre-Appointment Wellness Screening Checklist, Treatment Consent Form, and a Medical Questionnaire. These will be sent approximately one week before your appointment.
This will be sent to your email via DocuSign for you to easily complete electronically. Don’t worry, this will all be delivered to one place and they just need a few minutes of your time to complete.
All of this paperwork MUST be completed prior to arriving for your appointment. If you have any questions when completing the paperwork, just call the clinic – we are here to help!
3. PRE-APPOINTMENT PHONE CALL & PAYMENT
Because we can’t catch up with you in clinic, Julie will call you the day before to go through any questions or concerns about your treatments, whether you need any skincare, whether you’re well, whether there are any changes to your paperwork, or anything else that you want to chat about. This is your time for you and Julie to connect.
We will also ask for payment at this point which can be done by card over the phone or via BACS for existing patients.
Please remember our prices increased as of 1st April 2020.
4.WHEN YOU ARRIVE
When you arrive to clinic, please wait in your car and text or WhatsApp on 07769 692710 to let us know you’ve arrived. We will then open the door for you and call you in; there is no need for you to touch any doorhandles.
Please also leave anything you can in the car such as scarves and accessories to avoid bringing them into the sterilised treatment room. Don’t worry, it’s a private car park and your belongings will be safe
Otherwise we will ask you to put them in a sterilised plastic box when you come in.
When we call you in for your appointment, Julie or Hannah will greet you in appropriate PPE including surgical scrubs, a mask, and gloves. Julie will also be wearing a face shield.
We will give you a mask to put on before you come in the door. Please wear this mask until you leave the clinic completely.
We will also ask you to use hand sanitiser gel which will be dispensed from a contactless dispenser.
Lastly, we’ll take your temperature.
The entire clinic will be disinfected with a sophisticated, high power virucidal mister, effective for disinfecting all surfaces and furnishings from floor to ceiling. This will be done twice a day.
We will also be thoroughly disinfecting treatment surfaces, door handles, and any other high-traffic areas in between each and every patient.
7. FOLLOWING YOUR APPOINTMENT
Following your treatment you can collect any pre-ordered skincare. Post-treatment advice (along with pre-treatment protocols) is on our website and will be emailed to you as well.
Your follow up appointments will have been made at the time of booking your original appointment but if you need to schedule anything else in we ask that you do this via phone or email to limit your time in clinic.
Toxin reviews will be done virtually via WhatsApp or FaceTime at two weeks. If an in-person review is needed, these will be booked for the following week.
