NutriGen Procedure: During your appointment we will collect buccal swab, a few extra details such as weight and blood pressure, and a questionnaire from you. From there, your results will be sent off for processing. Your report will then be generated and you’ll receive a referral to Sascha, our highly respected dietician, who can interpret the report for you and make personalised recommendations for optimal weight, gut, skin, and overall health.
Cost: Prices start from £675, including your assessment, test, processing, report, and personalised session with our dietician.

What is evaluated?
Fagron NutriGen combines the analysis of 384 health and nutrition-related genetic predispositions (obesity, diabetes, triglycerides, coeliac disease, responses to exercise and interventional diets, vitamin & mineral deficiencies, among others) with relevant patient’s history (intolerances, diseases, medication, blood pressure, physical activity and habits, among others).
Fagron NutriGen™ Test analyzes the genetic predisposition for:

What happens during the DNA NutriGen™ Test?
Step 1: You’ll have a consultation with our nurse prescriber Julie to discuss concerns regarding weight management and existing nutrition.
Step 2: We’ll take a buccal swab sample (this just means we’ll swipe the inside of your cheek with a cotton swab).
Step 3: You’ll complete a patient questionnaire on the Fagron website.
Step 4: Your DNA Sample is analysed at the Fagron lab. Meanwhile, you’ll have received a referral to our in-house dietician Sascha Landskron and scheduled a virtual appointment with her ready for when your results are received.
Step 5: In 4-5 weeks, we’ll receive your comprehensive report and send it to you via email.
Step 6: Personalised treatment plan suggestions are provided based on report results, which you’ll discuss in your virtual consultation with Sascha.
Who is my personalised follow up NutriGen consultation with?
You’ll meet virtually with Sascha Landskron, a Specialist Dietitian, registered with the British Dietetic Association (BDA) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
With over 20 years of clinical experience, she has worked with over 20,000 patients of all ages. She holds an MSc in Advanced Dietetic Practice, a BSc in Nutrition and Food Sciences.
